Black Horizon, or Noir Horizon, is a french sci-fi comic. In the first issue, a group of convicts are sent through a kind of "black hole" portal that appeared to explore the other side, in exchange for their freedom. They land on a foreign planet, maybe a foreign dimension, and a strange, potentially living fog, transformed most of them into monsters.
