Desert Punk is a Post-apocalyptic themed series about a squat mercenary who lends the series his name. His methods are those of trickery and deception over force. However, the entire series satires the countless and idiotic cliches that are abound in anime.
In the 2nd episode, Desert Punk butts heads with another gun for hire known as Rain Spider. The two are tasked with collecting a debt from an old man and his daughter. When they're unable to find anything of material value, Rain Spider suggests they sell his daughter into slavery. At anyrate,there's a few more scenes, namely involving Junko, in episodes 10-11 and 17-18. Around episode 11, the overall enjoyability of the series starts to really blow, however. Becomes very boring, very formulaic, and ends as if George Lucas cooked it up.
