Wonderful, just fucking wonderful >:(

And the guy who posted that half-episode on Youtube recently replied in a comment that he recorded it BY PURE CHANCE, so he almost surely doesn't have the rest of it.

At this point, I give up for now. I don't know what else to do. It almost feels like a cosmic conspiracy to make this never get out of oblivion lol

DrProton wrote: March 6th, 2025, 8:53 pm Well, it's been a month and unfortunately nothing changed. A guy on Reddit told me he had an Italian VHS of an episode but never contacted me back. All hopes of finding even a single clip aside from the Italian theme song and that half-episode posted years ago are still virtually nil, and I guess that ghostz' attempt at contacting that Facebook page was a dead letter.

This shit is ridiculous. Ffs, that Cliffhanger cartoon doesn't even have a WIKIPEDIA PAGE and yet it can be found easily, even if only in Basque and Arabic. This thing had a whole line of merchandise based on it and yet on the Internet it looks like it never existed. How is this shit possible?
So, there are good news and bad news.

Good news: the guy managed to digitalize that Italian VHS and posted it on YouTube
Bad news: it's the exact same episode that was already online trimmed down to 10m as in a "sort of preview".

I swear to Christ, this thing's cursed.

Unfortunately not. And from what I can gather from the added footage, there's no DiD in that episode.

We are trying to get the rest of the series out there, but it feels like it's an uphill battle. I feel like the only hope would be for home recordings of some foreign dub to magically pop out, because I heavily doubt this has gotten any home-video release.

It definitely has not. At least not at any wide market if it ever has. The only chance it if someone has, or finds the rights to the reels and digitizes those at some point. But since the owning website doesn't even answer questions on their web form it's hard to say if anyone cares they have the rights to this thing.

Which owning website?
I also tried to contact one of the animators who worked on the series, but got zero answers back.
