Re: 7th Carnaby street
What is weird about this show is that the information is not even scant, there's BARELY any of it on the web. Normally these kind of rare cartoons have a least a dub in some kind of 2nd world language, like Russian or Arabic, but nope, just checked not even that. There's only a half-episode in Italian on Youtube.
Hope it surfaces one day, because that main girl is hot as hell.

One thing at a time. I'm much more interested in the Carnaby Street hottie atm.
Btw, did this thing really have a torrent? I searched everywhere and got nothing back.
Re: 7th Carnaby street

I meant for Carnaby Street.
Re: 7th Carnaby street
Apparently a Facebook Italian page has some episodes but I can't contact them because I don't have FB.

Re: 7th Carnaby street
Did you write them in Italian? I ask because I don't know if they would answer notes written in other languages.
Re: 7th Carnaby street
I hope we will see something from this series very soon. This has the potential to be a long lost treasure. Even if we just get a few episodes, it would be better than nothing.
Re: 7th Carnaby street
Even leaving apart all the DiD thing, this is so off I got very interested in the search. I never heard of a cartoon that is completely lost and can be found literally NOWHERE, yet has its own merchandise attached to it which you CAN find on shops online.scarface wrote: February 1st, 2025, 10:26 pm I hope we will see something from this series very soon. Still, if a 80s German rock song can be identified after 40 years, we can get this thing out too.
Re: 7th Carnaby street
OOhh, so this is what Carnaby Street was?
When I was a teenager, I saw the name on the French TV Newspaper, but had no idea what this was about.
In France, it was aired on the private channel "Canal +" in 2000 (by private I mean a cable channel you could only access through an expensive membership), but this program was then never re-aired anywhere, which was very unusual. Canal + exclusive cartoons usually ended up on free TV one or two years later. But this one never made it anywhere from what I can tell. Plus no DVDs or VHS where ever edited in France.

Re: 7th Carnaby street
At this point I'm sure there must have been some copyright/rightholder shenanigans preventing it from being rerun. Either that or it just was not popular enough.uhu wrote: February 2nd, 2025, 1:42 pm OOhh, so this is what Carnaby Street was?

I'd contact Marco Pagot, if only I knew a way...
Re: 7th Carnaby street
Well, it's been a month and unfortunately nothing changed. A guy on Reddit told me he had an Italian VHS of an episode but never contacted me back. All hopes of finding even a single clip aside from the Italian theme song and that half-episode posted years ago are still virtually nil, and I guess that ghostz' attempt at contacting that Facebook page was a dead letter.
This shit is ridiculous. Ffs, that Cliffhanger cartoon doesn't even have a WIKIPEDIA PAGE and yet it can be found easily, even if only in Basque and Arabic. This thing had a whole line of merchandise based on it and yet on the Internet it looks like it never existed. How is this shit possible?
