A rip off comic of zorro but with a female chackter.
In issue 3 she gets betrayed by a guy who ties and gag her and her female atendent.
Later on she get captured by the main badguys
Considering Zorro was created in 1919, many other stories and characters have ripped him off, technically. Heck, the title of the comic reminds me more of the Scarlet Pimpernel, which practically invented the "costumed crime fighter with an alter ego" dynamic in 20th century pop culture, and that was circa 1909.
I digress. Very cute scene. Even if anytime I read the name "Maud," I imagine Ned Flanders' wife.

What about "And then there's Maude?" I'm talking about the classic TV show staring Bea Arthur before Golden Girls.
