After a flashback in issue #8, this scene takes place right after the cliffhanger of SHE-HULK #7 (viewtopic.php?t=10266). The artist this time is Takeshi Miyazawa. The premise is simple; She-Hulk has been captured by some bad guys who want to drain her gamma radiation to make their own gamma mutations stable.

So, across SHE-HULK #7 and #9 we got to see her get cuffed, manhandled, and strapped down over about 7-8 pages total, including many good close up panels. Yes, her hands are in front and there is no gag, but considering it is She-Hulk, I say this is a pretty good DID scene for her to close out the year. Damsel scenes that play out across more than one issue for a mainstream heroine aren't so common.
