In all seriousness, despite Carol Danvers' power level, in this volume she'd been manacled, hooded, chained to a chair, and grabbed by tentacles. She averages 1-2 scenes a year. It is an inspiration how creative Thompson is.
Just a brief splash panel scene for a cliffhanger. Carol has teamed up with Spider-Woman, Hazmat, and the X-Men (Psylocke, Polaris, X-23, and Gambit) to try to rescue Rogue, who has been turned into a Brood, and then fight more Brood. It has not gone well; they've all been captured at the end and, presumably, trapped in a psychic illusion due to Psylocke's psychic powers.

Technically, this is a CID since Gambit is technically in the scene. I say "technically" because all you see are his legs (and a hand). Carol is the focus of the panel and you see Psylocke, Spider-Woman, Hazmat and Polaris wrapped up. Thompson writes in a putz but keeps him as far from the "full treatment" panel as she can get away with. I suppose some people may lament that X-23 is also mostly unseen, but you can't have everything.
I still am surprised Thompson wrote Black Widow for a year and never gave her a full treatment. At this point she is obviously into it. She's written more scenes in 6 years than some writers do in twenty.
